Using the AI Results – A Caution
The AI was developed to be used in the hiring process, or in making decisions to upgrade an employee to a higher level position. It is also useful in making a placement decision – that is, to help tell if a person should be placed in one job or the other. Considerable experience with the AI is needed before this kind of placement decision can be made with confidence.
In the hands of a professional psychologist, the test results can be helpful when trying to modify the behavior of the examinee. Since this application demands careful feedback and counseling, it is imperative that managements do not give the examinee test information. This is the reason for recommending that test results be kept as confidential information available only to decision-makers who are knowledgeable, and involved in human resource management.
